What New Evidence Would Change Our Findings?
Northshore Gen is a neutral public-information platform. We explain what reviewed records establish, what they do not establish, and what remains unknown. We do not advocate for project approval or opposition. As new public records become available, individual findings are updated—regardless of whom the evidence favors.
Our standard for evidence revisionNeither official approval nor the absence of an agency violation proves the absence of harm. Conversely, an unverified allegation or application statement is not an established fact. Below are the specific records and empirical thresholds that would confirm, qualify, or correct our published findings.
Current Published FindingAmazon’s requested synthetic minor emission caps and reliance on federal emergency-engine operating restrictions (100 hours/year maintenance/testing with unrestricted genuine emergency operation) are applicant proposals until IDEM issues an enforceable permit.
Triggering New Evidence RequiredAn IDEM-issued final FESOP permit containing specific enforceable conditions, fuel sulfur caps, stack testing mandates, or modified operating limits.
How the finding would be updatedIf IDEM issues a final permit, findings will update from 'proposed by applicant' to 'enacted permit condition,' detailing exact enforceable runtime rules and monitoring requirements.

How the finding would be updatedFindings will update to reflect revised utility in-service targets, transmission constraints, or customer-specific delivery dates.
Current Published FindingThe trial court confirmed the City's ERA tax abatement on the merits; zoning and fill-permit claims remain pending subject to an October 19 dismissal hearing.
Triggering New Evidence RequiredA written order from the Lake Superior Court on the pending motions to dismiss, a final judgment on the zoning challenge, or an Indiana Court of Appeals notice.

Current Published FindingAmazon agreed to a 65 dBA boundary sound limit with emergency outage exceptions, but no site-specific post-construction noise measurement exists.
Triggering New Evidence RequiredA calibrated, peer-reviewed or city-commissioned acoustical survey conducted at SBN520 property boundaries under documented operational loads.
How the finding would be updatedFindings will update with measured decibel levels, ambient baselines, frequency analysis, and compliance status against the municipal 65 dBA standard.
